400 Years of White Supremacy and Counting

This workshop will uncover the systemic racism that up holds white supremacy, from slavery to Jim Crow, along with the discriminatory practices in education, economics, housing, labor, laws, and politics. ​

• This includes a review of “Qualified Immunity Laws” that justify the deadly practices of police brutality, violence, and unarmed shootings perpetrated against people of color. ​
• The “Gaslighting” that allows poverty to flourish because people are happy to vote against their own interests in favor of upholding racist policies and practices. ​
• In addition, we will explore how the “Karen” phenomenon is rooted in centuries of racial power dynamics and how we can dismantle it. ​
